Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Planning and executing shifts to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness
- Maintaining performance standards during shifts
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
- Meeting targets and supporting departmental goals
- Managing inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
- Producing high-quality food and exceptional customer service
- Ensuring safety and security
- Scheduling staff
- Providing training
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work in a dynamic workplace
- Age 18 or older
