Shift Manager
Requirements
A Shift Manager leads shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various responsibilities such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift. They may also be responsible for meeting targets and supporting their assigned Departments in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and delegate tasks effectively
- Manage inventory and daily maintenance
- Ensure cleanliness and quality of food production
- Provide superior customer service
- Monitor safety and security
- Train new team members
- Support the next Shift Manager in preparing for their shift
Qualifications
- Positive team player with a flexible schedule
- Passion for working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability to work shifts
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Must be 18 years or older
