About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Planning for each shift
- Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
- Meeting targets during their shifts
- Helping assigned Departments meet their goals
- Ensuring food safety
- Maintaining internal communication
- Managing inventory
- Performing daily maintenance and cleanliness
- Ensuring quality food production
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Maintaining safety and security
- Scheduling staff
- Training new employees
Requirements
A background in leadership, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting is preferred. Positive team players with a flexible schedule and a passion for the fast-paced environment are sought. Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply.
Qualifications
Previous leadership experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants should demonstrate a strong ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Skills
Strong leadership skills, effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
