Shift Manager

About the role

This job posting is for a Shift Manager position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
• Provide leadership to the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.
• Monitor performance during the shift, take necessary actions to ensure standards are met, and manage safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets during your shift and assist in meeting department goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Ensure exceptional customer service.
• Manage crew and train them.
• Perform food safety checks internally.
• Manage scheduling and staff.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment is preferred, but not required.
• You must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.

Skills
