About the role

The job involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant, ensuring high quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks including planning shifts, monitoring performance, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and training staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
  • Plan for each shift and monitor performance to meet McDonald’s standards.
  • Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
  • Meet targets during shifts and assist in meeting department goals.
  • Ensure food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Manage crew and handle exceptional customer service and safety issues.
  • Schedule staff and train them on food production and quality.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun while working.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be considered for the role.
