Shift Manager

About the role

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient service.
• Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the following shift.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Oversee food production and customer service.
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
• Support and mentor the team, fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• A flexible schedule and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply for this position.
