Shift Manager

About the role

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift
• Maintain performance during the shift
• Ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for the following shift
• Meet targets during their shifts
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Manage crew and quality food production
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure food safety
• Manage scheduling
• Train new employees

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule
• Passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants
