Shift Manager
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor each shift to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Maintain safety and security protocols.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Ensure departmental goals are met.
- Meet shift-specific targets.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A flexible schedule and a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Qualifications
Positive team player with a strong work ethic. No specific educational qualifications are required, but previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Skills
Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential. Familiarity with inventory management and daily maintenance procedures is beneficial.
