Shift Manager

About the role

The role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers are responsible for various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, enforcing McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Planning for each shift
• Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager
• Ensuring the team is meeting targets and department goals
• Handling food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Managing crew and quality food production
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Ensuring safety and security
• Scheduling and training

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• A positive attitude and a flexible schedule
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older
