Shift Manager

About the role

The job for this role involves leading shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers perform various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction and meet McDonald’s standards.
• Ensure the team meets McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory and daily maintenance.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet and exceed targets set during the shift.
• Help departments meet their goals.
• Handle food safety, internal communication, and exceptional customer service.
• Manage crew and handle scheduling.
• Train new employees.

Requirements

• Leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and evenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Qualifications

Previous leadership experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants should demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage a team effectively.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 8 hours long and may vary based on the needs of the restaurant.

Pay

Starting wages range from $12 to $16 per hour, with an automatic $.25 raise after 30 days.
