Shift Manager
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. They oversee a team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Plan for each shift and monitor performance to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
- Maintain safety and security measures.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
- Meet targets set during their shifts and assist in achieving departmental goals.
- Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Ensure exceptional customer service.
- Train new employees and manage the crew.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Qualifications
Positive team player with a flexible schedule who enjoys working in a dynamic and energetic environment. Must be able to communicate effectively and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities under pressure is required.
Benefits
Part-time managers start at $16.50 per hour, while full-time managers start at $18.50 per hour.
