Shift Manager
About the role
The role involves leading shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers oversee the team and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. They also handle various tasks such as planning shifts, monitoring performance, ensuring safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Planning for each shift
- Making sure the team meets McDonald’s standards
- Communicating with the next Shift Manager
- Ensuring the team is meeting targets and department goals
- Managing inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
- Ensuring exceptional customer service
- Managing food safety and security
- Scheduling staff
- Providing training
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
- Positive attitude and a flexible schedule
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants

Positive team player with a passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and manage a team efficiently.
