About the role
The job involves leading shifts in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, responsibilities include planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining safety and security, and training crew members.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure great Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
- Maintain safety and security protocols
- Manage inventory and daily maintenance
- Train and supervise crew members
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the following shift
- Meet and exceed performance targets
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting is preferred
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team
- Must be 17 years or older
Qualifications
Applicants should be able to work flexible hours and possess a valid driver's license if required for transportation to and from work.

Pay
- $20.00 per hour for shift leaders with limited availability
- $21.00 per hour for shift leaders with 2 shift/open availability
- Additional earnings based on achieving targets and completing training
Schedule
Shifts are typically 8 hours long and may vary depending on the needs of the restaurant.
