Shift Manager

The role involves leading shifts in a McDonald’s restaurant operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. As a Shift Manager, responsibilities include ensuring quality, service, and cleanliness, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, overseeing crew performance, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure high-quality service and cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards in terms of food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for their shift
• Meet and help meet departmental targets during shifts
• Manage crew and handle scheduling
• Perform food safety checks and manage inventory
• Train crew members

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work long hours standing and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Must be 18 years or older
