About the Role

Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience every time they visit. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift. They may also be responsible for meeting targets and assisting departments in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift
• Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness
• Monitor performance during the shift
• Take action to ensure team meets McDonald’s standards
• Monitor safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager
• Meet targets during their shifts
• Help assigned Departments meet their goals

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule
• Passion for working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate-owned and operated restaurants
