Shift Manager
About the role
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager.
Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the next shift.
- Manage inventory and daily maintenance.
- Train and supervise staff.
- Meet and exceed performance targets.
- Support the assigned departments in achieving their goals.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
- Must be 18 years or older to qualify as a manager.

Pay
Starting at as much as $14.50/hour and potentially earning over $16.00 once certified.
Schedule
Shifts vary based on the needs of the restaurant and the individual manager’s availability.
