Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as planning for each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor shifts to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies.
• Monitor safety and security measures.
• Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager.
• Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
• Support and mentor the team to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility with a willingness to adapt to a dynamic work schedule.
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage a team.
• Must be 18 years or older.
