Shift Manager

Requirements

Manages shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.

• Provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift.
• Makes sure the team meets McDonald’s standards.
• Monitors safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicates with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meets targets during their shifts.
• Helps assigned Departments meet their goals.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of tasks, including:

• Planning for each shift.
• Making sure the team is meeting McDonald’s standards.
• Ensuring the team is meeting quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitoring safety, security, and profitability.
• Communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for their shift.
• Helping assigned Departments meet their goals.
• Meeting targets during their shifts.

Qualifications

Must have strong leadership and communication skills.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must be able to communicate effectively with both employees and customers.

Must be able to manage inventory and maintain cleanliness.

Must be able to train and mentor employees.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be at least 18 years old.
