Shift Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Shift Managers provide leadership to the crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift and monitor performance
• Take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards
• Maintain safety, security, and profitability
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift
• Meet targets during their shifts and assist in meeting department goals
• Manage food safety, inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness
• Ensure quality food production and exceptional customer service
• Monitor and manage crew activities
• Handle scheduling and training responsibilities

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule
• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Basic computer skills
