Shift Manager

About the role

A Shift Manager leads shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They monitor performance, enforce McDonald’s standards, manage safety and security, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor each shift to ensure quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Take action to address issues and maintain McDonald’s standards.
• Communicate with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift.
• Meet targets and help departments achieve their goals.
• Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Train and supervise the crew.
• Ensure food safety and exceptional customer service.
• Handle scheduling and staffing needs.

Requirements

• Open availability and a hardworking, team-oriented attitude.
• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Positive team player with a flexible schedule.
• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail for maintaining high standards.
