About the role

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a specific shift designated by the General Manager while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, wage, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other legal requirements. The role involves knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs® Policies and Procedures, ensuring shift profitability within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.

You will provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs® culture, mission, and vision statements. You will assist the General Manager in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner, as well as participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the GM's guidance.

Additional duties include ensuring all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and accomplished on schedule, actively participating in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives, and representing Firehouse Subs® professionally at all times. You will communicate effectively to the GM/Owner about any issues impacting the business.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations (health, wage, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, etc.).
• Adhere to and enforce all Firehouse Subs® Policies and Procedures.
• Operate shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth to ensure profitability.
• Provide leadership to maintain superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness standards while embracing the Firehouse Subs® culture.
• Assist the General Manager in implementing operations game plans and company initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the GM's guidance.
• Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
• Actively participate in Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represent Firehouse Subs® professionally at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner about any business-impacting issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the GM/Owner.

• Able to work on your feet for up to 13 hours at a time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
