About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Shift Managers handle various tasks such as shift planning, performance monitoring, safety and security oversight, and communication between shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor shifts to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with McDonald’s standards and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with the next Shift Manager to prepare for the following shift.
  • Meet and exceed targets set for the shift.
  • Support and guide the crew in achieving departmental goals.
  • Manage inventory, daily maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Ensure food safety protocols are followed.
  • Handle exceptional customer service situations.
  • Oversee safety and security measures.
  • Schedule staff appropriately.
  • Train new and existing employees.

Requirements

  • Previous leadership experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to the demands of the job.
  • Age 18 or older.
