Shift Leader-Team Captain

About the role

We are looking for a purpose-driven Shift Leader / Team Captain to become an ultimate ambassador of our brand. As a Shift Leader / Team Captain, you will help guests meet their fitness and nutrition goals by assisting them in selecting smoothies and retail products that inspire a healthy and active lifestyle. You will also provide guidance to team members when general managers are not in the store. The successful candidate will be passionate about the brand and demonstrate a willingness to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Blend delicious-tasting smoothies.
• Ensure the guest’s purpose is met when smoothies are ordered.
• Greet and engage guests to provide a friendly experience.
• Properly prep all fruits, vegetables, frozen items, powders, and liquids.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Complete store checklist tasks.
• Show up on time and ready to work.
• Live and promote the culture, values, and mission of Smoothie King.
• Assist in team member management throughout the shift.
• Fulfill cash handling, inventory, and open/closing store assignments.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect and communicate with guests and team members with a “guest comes first” attitude.
• Minimum age requirement: at least sixteen (16) years of age or older (additional qualifications may be required for the Team Captain role).
• Experience in a fast-food environment preferred but not necessary.
