Shift Leader (PM Shift)

Join our brand new Skokie, IL store located at 5235 Touhy Ave Suite 6B, Skokie, IL 60077. As Shift Leader, you are the captain of our bakery day or night, predicting the flow of business to ensure a successful shift.

About the Role

Your hands-on leadership style includes building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers. You’ll take pride in leading a productive and fun shift while upholding Insomnia Cookies’ standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all guests.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, and monitoring production efficiency.
• Hold the team accountable to company standards and assist in training and coaching team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Work alongside the Cookie Crew to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service-focused role.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor.
• Detail-focused and results-oriented.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
