Shift Leader (Multiple Positions Statewide)

Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintains prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for team members, ensuring they are trained and equipped to provide excellent service.
• Monitors and enforces adherence to all Church's menu standards and procedures.
• Assists team members in preparing quality products and providing exceptional service.
• Ensures safety and security protocols are consistently enforced and adhered to.
• Oversees opening and closing duties as outlined in the Shift Awareness Checklists.
• Fulfills responsibilities related to product preparation, handling, and storage.
• Maintains accurate records and reports, including weekly sales reports, bank deposits, and inventory management.
• Ensures timely attendance and punctuality among team members.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• ServSafe food safety training is recommended.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle during shifts.
• Must successfully complete the Shift Leader certification program.

Position Qualifications/Functional Skills

• Completes Weekly Sales Report, Bank deposit slips, the Cash and Inventory worksheet, and other forms as required for the shift.
• Enters inventory and payroll data into the POS system.
• Ensures the restaurant closes properly by correctly logging out of the POS system.
• Adheres to cash handling and security procedures, including cash sales counts, drawer bank counts, and drawer assignments.
• Maintains professional and ethical behavior at all times.
