About the role

Our Panda Shift Leaders are key figures in our team, fostering a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests while supporting management in creating delicious food, providing heartfelt service, and maintaining a proud ambiance.

Responsibilities

  • Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Gain valuable skills managing store operations and leading the team during the shift.
  • Gain hands-on experience in cooking and preparing Panda favorites for our guests.
  • Gain a diverse range of skills to develop yourself and others.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:
  • Some high school education.
  • Prioritize some operations experience.
  • Food Safety: Acquire local/municipal Food Handler certification at your own expense.
  • ADA Statement: Counter areas can be hot due to steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspaces are restricted, and employees are expected to stand for long periods and reach across counters. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for up to four hours, and reach high shelves. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively, adapt to dynamic environments, and manage conflicts/difficult situations.

Skills

  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Management of conflicts/difficult situations.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Shift Lead positions typically operate on a rotating schedule to cover all shifts throughout the day and night.
