JOB SUMMARY
CPC Shift Leaders are expected to oversee all phases of the centralized processing center operations in accordance with Goodwill Central Oklahoma policies and procedures, fostering a safe and productive work environment. The Shift Leader is responsible for training, coaching, directing and validating processing operations. Direct Reports: CPC Processors and Material Handlers Starting Pay $17.85/ hour plus Benefits.
Essential Job Functions
- Punctual and dependable attendance.
- Review and be familiar with Goodwill of Central Oklahoma safety and security policies, programs and procedures and adhere to all safety rules, regulations and safety codes.
- Attend safety training and meetings and report on any unsafe work conditions, accidents or injuries immediately.
- Schedules and organizes processing operations in CPC to maximize production of materials for shipment to retail stores in accordance with established processing procedures.
- Participate in interviews for potential employees and effectively recommend which candidates should be hired.
- Train and mentor employees in assigned departments.
- Consults with the Warehouse Manager on hiring, employee discipline, discharge, and other employment issues.
- Maintains good housekeeping standards in all departments supervised.
- Fulfills other duties and projects as required by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment.
- Equipment operation experience preferred, i.e., pallet jacks, baler, tipper, forklift, etc.
- Ability to speak, read and write the English language.
- Reliable transportation and communication, required.
