About the role
Under the administrative supervision of the Program Director or designee, this leadership position oversees swing shift operations, scheduling, and assists the Program Director in managing day-to-day program activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for clients and staff in the absence of the Team Leader.
- Review and track staff progress notes.
- Secure coverage for absent staff members.
- Assist the Team Leader in preparing staff performance evaluations.
- Meet with the Team Leader weekly to provide updates.
- Assist in interviewing and decision-making for hiring PM staff.
- Review and update all PM shift forms.
- Review and send all Shift Incident Reports (SIRs).
- Coordinate PM medication runs.
- Carry a small caseload and provide case management services as required.
- Provide after-hours “on-call” support on a rotational basis for clients in crisis.
- Interact productively within the team to provide holistic case management services.
- Provide “on-the-spot” counseling consistent with the program’s philosophy.
- Attend to the safety, health, and well-being of clients and staff.
- Complete assigned paperwork in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or accredited GED.
- Minimum of 4 years of varied experience as a provider of mental health services, with increasing leadership roles desired.
- California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance/registration if driving.
- Reliable means of transportation capable of passing a vehicle safety inspection if the vehicle is more than five years old (excluding two-wheeled transport).
Schedule
Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
