Shift Leader

About the role

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join our team at Modern Market Eatery, a farm-fresh eatery that serves awesome food in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. If you have a passion for ensuring shifts run smoothly and guest service expectations are met, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while ensuring all employees take their mandatory breaks at the appropriate time
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist the Manager with other duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience
• Exceptional communication skills
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others
• Ability to multi-task

Pay

This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable laws.
