About the role

As a Shift Leader at our Rochester store (1333 Mount Hope Ave, Rochester, NY 14620), you are the captain of our bakery day or night. You’ll predict the flow of business during a shift, lead by example, and ensure a productive and fun environment for your team. Your hands-on leadership will include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all guests.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating key information, monitoring production efficiency, and holding the team accountable to company standards.
• Assist in training and coaching team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Work alongside the Cookie Crew to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer service-focused role.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, and patient demeanor.
• Detail-focused and results-oriented.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
