About the role

At Einstein Bros. Bagels, Shift Leaders play a crucial role in motivating and setting the tone for the team. They collaborate directly with the General Manager to ensure a great guest experience. Shift Leaders are responsible for opening and closing the store with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team for a great guest experience
• Take charge and set the morale and tone of the team
• Provide feedback and coach team members when needed
• Ensure the quality of the food and beverages served
• Keep the store environment safe and clean

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Work all 7 days of the week, including weekends
• Pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Able to pass ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training
• Current, valid, state issued driver’s license (preferred but not required)

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours, including early hours (as early as 2am and as late as 4pm)
• Pass a drug screening and criminal background check
