Job Summary
Join our team! We are looking for a Shift Leader at Bruegger’s, a beloved brand known for its genuine New York-style bagels and real Vermont cream cheese. Shift Leaders collaborate with the General Manager to ensure a great guest experience, setting the tone for the team. They also open and close the store independently.
About the Role
Shift Leaders play a crucial role in motivating the team and ensuring the quality of the food and beverages served. They are responsible for maintaining a safe and clean store environment. This position offers flexible scheduling, paid time off after 90 days, competitive pay, and additional benefits like an Employee Assistance Program and a 401K with company matching.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver a great guest experience
- Take charge and set the morale and tone of the team
- Provide feedback and coach team members when needed
- Open and close the store with minimal supervision
- Maintain a safe and clean store environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends
- Pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
- Able to pass ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training
- Current, valid state issued driver’s license (preferred but not required)

Pay
$11.67 - $18.67 per hour, starting pay subject to local and state minimum wage regulations.
Schedule
Flexible schedule, with no evening or night shifts.
