Shift Leader

Job Summary

Join our team! We are looking for a Shift Leader at Bruegger’s Bagels. Our Shift Leaders collaborate directly with the General Manager to help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience. They also provide feedback and coach team members when needed.

About the Role

Our Shift Leaders open and close the store with little to no supervision. They ensure the quality of the food and beverages served and maintain a safe and clean store environment. Shift Leaders are like the cream cheese on the bagel - they add flavor and help hold everything together.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team for a great guest experience
• Take charge and set the morale and tone of the team
• Provide feedback and coach team members when needed
• Open and close the store with little to no supervision
• Maintain the quality of the food and beverages served
• Maintain a safe and clean store environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant)
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Must be in possession of, or able to obtain, a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations
