Shift Leader

About the Role

A Shift Leader oversees the restaurant's overall operations during their shift, ensuring company standards, policies, and procedures are followed while maintaining operational quality and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all company standards and policies are met.
• Control costs effectively.
• Communicate clearly with employees and supervise their work to ensure assignments are completed properly.
• Manage inventory supplies and reorder items as needed.
• Adjust the Par Prep Sheet to maintain fresh product availability for guests.
• Observe and guide crew members, reallocating labor and coordinating operations as needed.
• Ensure guests are served quickly and efficiently; solicit feedback and resolve complaints.
• Exhibit a friendly and enthusiastic attitude, demonstrating care for guests and employees.
• Perform administrative duties requiring basic computer skills.

Requirements

• Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain cash variances at acceptable levels.
• Reliable transportation.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Perform motions involving pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
