Shift Lead-FOH

About the role

The Shift Leader assists the management team in overseeing restaurant operations and personnel during an assigned shift, ensuring company standards are met for recipes, procedures, quality, timeliness, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees during scheduled shifts.
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and upkeep at all times.
• Resolve guest concerns and ensure exceptional service.
• Follow all Company standard operating procedures.
• Build morale and foster professional growth among staff.
• Mentor team members to uphold the highest service and systems standards.
• Develop staff through one-on-one coaching to support execution.
• Prepare all products from scratch using the best ingredients and proven recipes.
• Ensure adherence to recipes and maintain deep understanding of cost control and product quality.
• Drive financial results through systems, standards, and business metrics (sales, COG, labor, operating expenses).
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid driver’s license and car insurance (required).
• Successful completion of required training, on-the-job checklists, and quizzes, including annual re-certification (required).
• NRA ServSafe food and alcohol certifications (preferred).
• 2 years of restaurant or equivalent experience (preferred).

Schedule

• Minimum of 3 shift leader shifts per period.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
