Shift Lead - Direct Support Professional

About the role

We are seeking a Shift Lead to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. This role involves working directly with clients, guiding team members, and ensuring smooth operations during evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support Clients with daily living activities like meals, hygiene, and medications
• Model best practices for other staff and help maintain consistent, high-quality care
• Aid in community outings, social events, and skill-building activities
• Provide on-the-job training to DSPs in areas such as vitals, oxygen use, medications, and engagement
• Maintain accurate documentation and program data
• Bridge communication between shifts to support continuity of care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment for Clients

Requirements

• Previous Direct Support Professional experience preferred but not required; caregiving or CNA experience is also relevant
• A valid Driver’s License with a minimum of 5 years' driving experience and a clean driving record
• A team player looking to advance in their career
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hour per week schedule available with flexible 3-11pm shift options.
