Operations
- Holds store keys to open and close without management as necessary.
- Aids in and coaches other team members through the warehouse and vendor ordering process, including opening the back door for vendor deliveries.
- Registers all related sales on assigned cash register, including handling scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
- Assists in reviewing order exceptions on order release day and assists in reverse logistics activities.
- Evaluates and develops displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
- Maintains accurate inventory counts; ensures proper signage is displayed to support accurate pricing of products.
- Completes resets and revisions; ensures compliance with local regulations and regulatory compliance programs.
- Aids with bookkeeping activities, such as cash reports, cash counts, ledgers, and bill payments.
- Ensures exterior and interior maintenance by maintaining a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
- Assists with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
- Has working knowledge of store systems and equipment; assists at the pharmacy out window as needed.
- Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
- Performs bag checks of team members before leaving the store.
Customer Experience
- Greet and offer assistance to customers and patients with products and services.
- Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
Training & Personal Development
- Attends training and completes PPLs requested by Manager.
Communications
- Serves as a liaison between management and non-management team members by communicating assigned tasks when store management is not present.
- Reports disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
