Shift Lead

About the role

A Shift Lead is trained to perform all the duties that Team Members do, with additional responsibility for ensuring a smooth-running shift. This is especially important in the absence of the General Manager or Manager in Training (MIT), as they assume that leadership role. Shift Leads assist with ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team management, and other duties as required or assigned. They help lead the team in giving customers the best experience with fast and accurate service.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of Team Members
• Assume leadership role in the absence of the General Manager or Manager in Training (MIT)
• Ensure compliance with company standards in product preparation, delivery, customer relations, and restaurant maintenance
• Manage team to provide fast and accurate customer service
• Handle additional duties as required or assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Restaurant experience preferred

Working Conditions

Position requires qualified individuals to:

• See, hear, and speak (verbally and audibly)
• Ascend and descend stairs
• Sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel
• Work outside in various weather conditions
• Work on a computer for extended periods, including using a mouse and keyboard
• Drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes
• Function effectively in a fast-paced working environment
• Report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state
• Disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair job performance
