Shift Lead

About the Role

Shift Leads are trained to perform all the duties of Team Members, with the added responsibility of ensuring a smooth-running shift, especially in the absence of the General Manager or Manager in Training (MIT), where they assume the leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Assists with ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, and team management.
• Helps lead the team in providing customers with the best experience through fast and accurate service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Restaurant experience preferred.

Working Conditions

• Position requires the ability to see, hear, and speak (verbally and audibly).
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, sit and stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel.
• May work outside in various weather conditions.
• May be required to work on a computer for extended periods, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard, and reaching with arms.
• May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes.
• Must function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state.
• Must disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair the ability to perform essential job functions.
• Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
