About the role
A Shift Lead is trained to perform all the duties that Team Members do, with additional responsibility for ensuring a smooth-running shift. This is especially important in the absence of the General Manager or Manager in Training (MIT), as they assume that leadership role.
- Assists with ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team management, and other duties as required or assigned.
- Helps lead the team in giving customers the best experience with fast and accurate service.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Restaurant experience preferred.
Working Conditions
Position requires qualified individuals to:
- See, hear, and speak (verbally and audibly).
- Ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift up to 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Work outside in various weather conditions.
- Work on a computer for extended periods, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms.
- Drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes.
- Function effectively in a fast-paced working environment.
- Report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non-sedative state.
- Disclose prescribed and/or over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform essential job functions.
