Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and orderly facility
- Take the lead in responding to any emergency and be familiar with all emergency procedures
- Consistently offer the highest level of personalized member customer service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude
- Make multiple rounds of the entire facility during shift
- During rounds, follow the Manager On Duty tasks
- Notice and remedy unsafe conditions
- Give tours to prospective or new members
- Know and enforce guidelines in age and training restricted areas
- Refill and restock items in the locker room and common areas as needed
- Be familiar with the proper use of all equipment—cardio, strength, and free weights. If no trainer is present, assist members
- Know the location of and proper use of first aid supplies and AED units
- Monitor team member activity
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus
- CPR, First Aid & AED certification, or willing to obtain upon hire
