Shift Lead

Job Description

Pay Range: $15.35/ hour

Responsibilities

• Set and maintain Chuze standards in customer service by welcoming and interacting with all members
• Complete daily cleaning tasks and ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean
• Aid in all aspects of front desk operations, including membership sign-ups, retail presentation, amenities, answering phones, point-of-sale transactions, and making smoothies, if applicable
• Train all front desk employees and maintain knowledge of best practices and policies found in in-person coaching, Learning Management System (LMS) paths, and Harassment Prevention training
• Support running daily shift operations such as breaking employees for lunches, delegating and following up on cleaning responsibilities, and successfully completing opening and closing responsibilities
• Assist in troubleshooting member inquiries and partner with management for escalated concerns
• Assist in administrative tasks such as member management software reports, inventory counts and managing club email
• Attend and participate in regularly scheduled team meetings

• Touring the gym: walking and climbing stairs
• Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
• Standing for long periods
• Computer operations
• Able to lift at least 50lbs
