This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with a strong emphasis on membership sales, customer engagement, and operational excellence.

The Shift Lead supports the Operating Partner and General Manager in daily operations, team leadership, and sales performance. As the designated key holder and leader for assigned shifts, you will step in during the absence of the Operating Partner and General Manager. While ensuring a safe, clean, and friendly experience for every guest is essential, the primary focus of this position is selling monthly wash memberships at the pay station. We’re looking for someone comfortable starting conversations, educating customers on the value of our membership program, and confidently closing the sale.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts in the absence of the Operating Partner and General Manager.
• Drive membership sales at the pay station by engaging customers, educating them on the value of our membership program, and closing sales.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and friendly experience for every customer.
• Serve customers in a friendly manner with a positive attitude.
• Collaborate with team members and follow established systems.
• Learn and apply new skills in safety, mechanical systems, and customer service.
• Maintain a clean appearance according to company standards.
• Lead by example, solve problems, and hustle with a sense of urgency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
• Experience in supervisory roles such as shift lead, team lead, or crew trainer.
• Experience in customer service, operations, or team-based roles.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate electronic devices.
• Sales experience is helpful but not required.

Pay

Base pay is $17 per hour, with an additional $3 commission for every membership sold, creating strong earning potential for motivated and sales-driven individuals.
