Shift Lead

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Shift Lead. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with a strong emphasis on membership sales, customer engagement, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operating Partner and General Manager in daily operations
• Lead team members during assigned shifts in the absence of the Operating Partner and the General Manager
• Sell monthly wash memberships at the pay station
• Ensure a safe, clean, and friendly experience for every guest
• Close sales confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in supervisory roles such as shift lead, team lead, or crew trainer
• Experience in customer service, operations, or team-based roles
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Able to operate electronic devices
• Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Able to solve problems and lead by example

Qualifications

• Natural ability to talk with people and sell
• Comfortable starting conversations and educating customers on the value of the membership program
• Positive attitude and willingness to serve customers with a big smile
• Cooperative with team members and follows company systems
• Willingness to learn new skills in areas of safety, mechanical, and customer service
• Maintains a clean appearance according to company standards
• Works outside actively (ideal if you don't prefer being inside)

Pay

$18 per hour base pay with additional commission

Schedule

Shifts vary based on business needs, typically including early morning, late night, and weekend hours.
