Shift Lead

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Shift Lead. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment with a strong emphasis on membership sales, customer engagement, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Operating Partner and General Manager in daily operations
• Lead team members during assigned shifts in the absence of the Operating Partner and the General Manager
• Sell monthly wash memberships at the pay station
• Ensure a safe, clean, and friendly experience for every guest
• Close sales confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in supervisory roles such as shift lead, team lead, or crew trainer
• Experience in customer service, operations, or team-based roles
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Able to operate electronic devices
• Able to hustle with a sense of urgency
• Problem-solving skills
• Sales experience helpful

Qualifications

• Comfortable starting conversations and educating customers on the value of our membership program
• Natural enjoyment of talking with people
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in areas of safety, mechanical, and customer service
• Maintain a clean appearance according to our standards
• Ability to lead by example

Pay

The base pay is $18 per hour, with an additional $3 commission for every membership sold.

Schedule

Shifts vary based on business needs, typically including morning, afternoon, and evening hours.
