Shift Lead - 1373

About the role

Five Guys is hosting hiring events for crew members and shift leaders across multiple locations. Interviews will take place on Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11th from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and manage operations when management is not present
• Jump into various positions including cashier, grill, prep, fries, and dining room
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience
• Coach, support, and motivate team members
• Train new team members and foster a positive culture
• Manage shift tasks such as breaks, cash handling, and closing reports

Requirements

• 1-2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred)
• A team-first mindset with strong communication skills
• Ability to lead by example and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems

Qualifications

• Food safety certification (such as ServSafe) preferred
