Shift Electrician

About the role

Be above reproach in all actions. Understands PLC Logic and HMI's (capable of troubleshooting control issues), Industrial Networks (ControlNet, Device Net, Profibus, Ethernet), Motor skills, Strong troubleshooting skills, Understanding of Process Instrumentation and Applications, Medium and High Voltage equipment. Ability to work without direct supervision (self-motivated), Multi-task & follow through on projects with peers, Willingness to learn and train others, Good communication skills with ability to log activities in a database, Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...), Outstanding work record, Exemplary safety attitude and demonstrated commitment to safety, Proven track record as a leader regarding safety, Demonstrated ability to multi-task with strong organizational skills, Electrical Maintenance experience in an industrial setting, Team player who has demonstrated ability to work well with others and independently, Willing to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, Ability to work routinely in an outdoor setting.

Responsibilities

• Understand PLC Logic and HMI's (capable of troubleshooting control issues)
• Work with Industrial Networks (ControlNet, Device Net, Profibus, Ethernet)
• Show strong understanding of Motor skills and troubleshooting skills
• Understand Process Instrumentation and Applications, including Medium and High Voltage equipment
• Work independently and multi-task effectively
• Log activities in a database and communicate effectively
• Use good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...)
• Maintain an outstanding work record and safety attitude
• Lead by example in safety practices and demonstrate strong organizational skills
• Multi-task and work independently, willing to work overtime and in an outdoor setting

Requirements

• At least 2 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
