Primary Responsibilities
- Follow all plant, safety and PPE rules
- Install, calibrate, repair, design, construct, adjust, modify and perform preventative maintenance on all types of electrical equipment
- Perform daily inspection of all electronic devices necessary for machine performance and data collection to produce a quality product
- Maintain daily shift inspection and repair logs for supervision review
- Analyze and review wiring diagrams, blueprints and schematics
- Use various meters and test equipment proficiently in troubleshooting process
- Troubleshoot, locate and isolate problems associated with production line
- Maintain plant instrumentation such as heat controllers, recording devices, transmitters, level and flow control devices
Experience
- Minimum 2 years verifiable electrical experience in a manufacturing environment
- One (1) year as a Class “B” Electrician
- One (1) year as a Class “C” Electrician
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good organizational skills to process job related data
- Able to provide relevant, clear and timely information
- Able to anticipate needs of the facility and proceed to a solution with minimal direction
- Able to analyze and develop solutions in timely manner
- Must be able to work independently, as well as with the team
- Must have basic mathematical skills
- Able to use power tools including electrical testing and measuring equipment
Education, Licenses & Certifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certificate of completion from Class “B” and “C” TPC training modules
Additional Information
- Must be able to work in differing working conditions: Temperature, Wet, Humid, Noise, and Atmospheric Conditions
