About the role
The Hershey Lodge Shift Coordinator will report to the Assistant Manager in the Cocoa Beanery. As a Full-Time Team Member, you will enjoy perks like FREE admission to Hersheypark, discounts, and more as soon as you receive your Employee ID.
Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor and support guest service and hospitality standards.
- Lead food and beverage training within the outlet, including regular reviews and updates to training procedures.
- Monitor trained skills consistently.
- Understand all F&B items offered: ingredients, allergens, methods of preparation, and proper service.
- Order and maintain par levels of product inventory. Adjust par to forecast as needed.
- Ensure proper cash control procedures are followed daily.
- Maintain all safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure the work and service areas are clean and organized; report and follow up on maintenance needs using interdepartmental communication and the work order system.
- Cross-train and support other F&B outlets.
- Control wage and supply costs within budget, adjusting to forecast as needed.
- Develop and maintain inventory control measures.
- Assist outlet manager in interviewing potential applicants.
- Assist outlet manager in forecasting business, scheduling staff, and preparing weekly payroll.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Completion of high school or GED.
- Post-employment: ServSafe & RAMP certification.
Skills
- Night Audit or hotel accounting experience preferred but not necessary.
- Must be able to communicate well with both guests and employees.
- Must be able to work independently and make decisions independently.
- Familiarity with computerized front office systems, policies, and procedures preferred.
- Must present a professional image appropriate to the Hershey Lodge standards.

- Ability to speak and read the English language.
