About the role
Fedelta Home Care is hiring caregivers to support seniors in Shelton and throughout Mason County. We offer flexible scheduling, comprehensive training, and a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders and assistance
- Bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance
- Stand-by support, repositioning, or lifting
- Companionship—conversation, games, walks, etc.
- Light housekeeping
- Transportation to appointments and errands (as needed)
Requirements
- Active WA State HCA or CNA license
- Smartphone for timekeeping
- Reliable transportation to client locations
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check

Pay
$22 – $23.50 per hour, based on experience
$0.72/mile reimbursement
Additional shift differentials may apply

Supervisory Responsibilities
None. Escalated matters of significance are referred to the Home Care Supervisor or Manager.
Education & Experience
- For Washington State employees: Certified Nursing Assistant (C-NA), Home Care Aide (HCA), Home Health Aide (HHA) license is required to maintain employment (Fedelta offers a fully compensated licensure program for those interested in continuing employment!)
- Licenses must remain in good standing during employment.
Certifications & Registrations
- RN Delegation certification is highly desired.
- A valid driver's license, satisfactory driver abstracts, and proof of auto insurance are required for individuals who drive while engaged in duties for Fedelta Home Care (not required).
Physical Demands
- Regularly sits, stands, walks, lifts, balances, uses hands to finger, handle, grasp, or feel; talks and hears; bends and reaches with hands and arms; uses repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds when assisting with direct patient care.
- Sometimes lifts and/or moves up to 100 pounds, assisted when providing direct patient care.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, lift, balance, use hands to finger, handle, grasp, or feel; talk and hear; bend and reach with hands and arms; and use repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Occasionally required to climb ladders or steps, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Visual acuity is necessary to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; viewing a computer terminal; reading; operating office equipment; operating a motor vehicle; and determining accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.

- The noise level in the work environment is low and typical of what is experienced in a traditional home or office environment.
